These are two very standard cables, but they can be done with a different number of stitches, and I've also never seen cables written in terminology that's as standard as the rest of knitting terminology. That's why I define what I mean by fc and bc. Then, when you find those terms in the knitting pattern written below, you'll know what I mean. Does that help? :)Gretchen Tracyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13720728303685051589noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6683194221069775925.post-16459577572088731952019-11-05T17:54:41.854-08:002019-11-05T17:54:41.854-08:00I love this pattern! But you could always do the provisional cast-on and a Kitchener like the commenter above suggested - that would at least make the seam prettier (yeah, I know it's not the same. It's the best I can think of, though!). :)Gretchen Tracyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13720728303685051589noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6683194221069775925.post-11071204331204335152015-02-20T07:49:40.983-08:002015-02-20T07:49:40.983-08:00I prefer knitting in the round to avoid seaming :)...I prefer knitting in the round to avoid seaming :) could this be adapted to knit this great headband??
